Wow! What a beautiful weekend! And I'm talking even more than the weather. Being born and raised in St. louis I'm so very proud of how giving the community is and I was reminded of that as well as of it's physical beauty.
Friday night I went to my first mouse race for my friends son's baseball team. None of the mice I bet on won but it was a great time.
Saturday night it was the St. Louis Crisis Nursery's "Razzle Dazzle Ball." It's not very often I get all dressed up for such a great cause. The Crisis Nursery helps prevent child abuse and neglect by providing emergency intervention, respite care and support to families in crisis. They are an amazing group! While there I ran into my former Broadcast Teacher and KMOV News Anchor Larry Conners (see photo below). For more info visit http://crisisnurserykids.com/
Sunday afternoon I attended the Food Outreach's 25th Annual Food and Auction Extravaganza Fundraiser "A Tasteful Affair" at The Four Seasons. I had never been there before. It's beautiful and the view was amazing from the top. Sometimes we forget how beautiful the Arch is! There was so much yummy food from the area's best restaurants and caterers all to promote the cause- to provide nutritious meals for those who are low income living with HIV/AIDS or Cancer. The wall with the 25 year logo is all made out of forks and the R2D2 is made from cans....how crafty and cool! Visit www.foodoutreach.org for more info.

And that beautiful view of the Arch I was telling you about....
