Synopsis: (from IMDB.com) In Istanbul, retired CIA operative Bryan Mills and his wife are taken hostage by the father of a kidnapper Mills killed while rescuing his daughter.

The Review: The synopsis is confusing if you didn't see the first film, "Taken." Liam Neeson plays an ex CIA operative who's daughter is "Taken" while on vacation overseas.  He goes to find her and kills a bunch of dudes running a sex-trafficking ring.  In "Taken 2" the father of some of the dudes he killed in the first movie comes back for retribution. In short, the sequal is nothing but a giant chase scene.  It's action packed but nowhere near as good as the first film.  Bottom line, seeing Liam Neeson kill bad guys is always fun.  I would never say, "don't go to the theatre and see this film," because I respect the effort everyone put forth to produce the film but it was just ok for me...dawg.  Super short too!!
