Chicago Cubs fans have a reason to be pessimistic.  Since, ya know, it's been 104 years since the team won the World Series.  But their pessimism just reached a new level.

--On Thursday, the Cubs opened the season with a 2-to-1 loss to the Washington Nationals.  So the Chicago TV station CLTV ran a poll asking fans if they thought the Cubs would make the playoffs this year . . . and 0% said yes.

--That's right.  Just ONE DAY into the season, not a SINGLE Cubs fan polled believed the team has a shot at making the postseason.

--The Cubs lost again on Saturday, but won yesterday, so now they're 1-2.  Only 90 or so more wins to prove all those fans wrong.
