Love Beer Festival

Love Beer Festival, Saturday, Sept. 15 from 10 am – 8 pm and Sunday, Sept. 16 from 11 am – 6 pm at Anheuser-Busch Brewery, 1200 Lynch St., St. Louis, MO 63118.

For the first time ever, the Anheuser-Busch St. Louis Brewery will host a festival to celebrate great beer and the passionate people who brew it. The celebration, dubbed Love Beer Festival, is a free, family-friendly event open to all beer lovers, giving the St. Louis community a chance to explore their craft beer curiosities and enjoy classic lagers.

Beer lovers can explore and enjoy a curated selection of over 100 beers from more than 15 breweries from across the country. Available for the first time in the St. Louis market, festival-goers will have the opportunity to sample and take home limited edition and seasonal beers from Devils Backbone Brewing Company out of Virginia, Four Peaks Brewing Co. in Arizona and Karbach Brewing Company from Texas.

Love Beer Festival has something for everyone. Attendees can explore the finest beer and food pairings, featuring dishes from The Biergarten chefs and limited edition and seasonal beers from top craft brewers. Beer lovers can also learn about different beer styles during educational and tasting activities presented by passionate brewmasters. Guests of all ages can enjoy live musical performances, authentic Oktoberfest celebrations, interactive experiences, Budweiser Clydesdale appearances, yard games and, for the first time, a Grant’s Farm-inspired petting zoo will be installed on-site.

Festival-goers are also encouraged to celebrate 100 years of the Bevo Bottling Facility, which was built just before the start of Prohibition and is a testament to the innovation of Anheuser-Busch during the challenges of the time. To celebrate, the Research Pilot Brewery at Anheuser-Busch, which allows brewmasters to experiment and innovate with ingredients and brewing techniques, is releasing the Soulard Strawberry Wheat. This limited-edition brew is aged on Soulard Farmers Market strawberries and is a commemoration to both the history of the Bevo Bottling Facility and the surrounding neighborhood.

The festival will donate a portion of beer sales to the St. Louis Brewers Guild to support the Guild’s mission to highlight the story of St. Louis’ fascinating brewing history and support the local brewing community to cement St. Louis as one of the nation’s premier beer tourism destinations.
